BARKATH MANUFACTURING SDN BHD , a wholly owned subsidiary of KUMPULAN BARKATH was set up in the mid sixties in MAK MANDIN Industrial Estate.

The factory has a built-up area of 30,000 sq.ft. and employs 100 people. Its premium products include rose syrup, chilli sauce, castor sugar, icing sugar, pasta products, baking powder, desiccated coconut and other food delicacies, which are marketed locally under the well known brand names of "SARINA" , "KINGS", "MAYENS", "CLASS FOODS" AND "BARKAT". All these products are produced under hygienic conditions using auto-processing methods.

Its products are distributed by the group's depots which are located in PENANG, BUTTERWORTH, IPOH, KUALA LUMPUR, KOTA BHARU and JOHOR BAHRU. Its export markets include the UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, SINGAPORE, BRUNEI, ARAB NATIONS and INDONESIA.
